Default one local profile for all users

The machine is going to be used by all students, and is
running windows xp pro. I want to set up one local
default profile for every student that logs on to the
network.

Thanks

Default one local profile for all users

You need to make a Mandatory profile...
1. Create an account and configure with the settings
(desktop, screensave etc) you desire
2.Create and share a folder on your server. This allows
users to access the profile
3.Copy the what you did in step 1 from System
Prop>Advanced>User Profiles to your server share you
created in step 2
4. Rename ntuser.dat to ntuser.man on the server, this
make it mandatory so users cannot change.
5. Specify the path to the profile in the user
properties,(\\servername\sharename)
6. Now give it a try.
