Opening shared files on a network

I have recently changed one of my two networked XP Home computers to
NTFS. The other was already NTFS. Since then I cannot open files over
the network if they were created and saved after the date of conversion.
Files created and saved before that date can still be opened with no
problem. The files can be seen but when I try to open them or copy them
I get the 'you might not have permission ..' or 'file not found, check
the path... ' messages. Anyone got any ideas what is happening?

Un-share and re-share the disk or folder that contains the files.
That will reset the permissions. Run the Network Setup Wizard to
fully enable file sharing.

Thanks - I'll try that! I have already tried unsharing and then re-sharing,
but I haven't tried the rerunning of the network wizard.
