Hey thanks...

I didn't realize it was out yet. I'm very curious what they
made out of it.

I'm still trying to get my grips on blender, but as far as I
can see it's a great program. The biggest problem is getting
familiar with the interface if you have used other programs
(like Maya and 3DSMax) before. However - there are some
great tutorials, and it seems to be less complicated than I
thought its was at first glance.

the bittorrent links flies. the other downloads are pretty slow.
so do the torrent and have fun.

also i am downloading the high definition version and its a little
slow too but it should be fun to watch it in hd.

it was just released for download a few hours ago.

I installed Blender, yeah its interface it very non-intuitive. Then I
installed ReadSoft3D which came on DVD with LinuxFormat magazine, complete
with license code, and I have to say it seems just as powerful and much
more intuitive-- give RealSoft3D a chance if you have not tried it.

It was on the CD version too. I've installed it a wile ago.
It seems to be a very nice program. However - I must confess
I did not had the time to explore the program's full
capabilities.

The problem with Linux and associated programs, is that
there is a LOT to explore. And now I'm also exploring VMware
server, FreeNX, MythTV, the new Suse distro, Scribus,
Kubuntu, etc, etc. Don't get me wrong - I love it! The only
problem is there are only 24 hours in a day and *sometimes*
you have to sleep.... ;-)

What a clever lot they are. Gads even with the help of software where do
people get the patience to put things like this together?

Well done you lot. Bet we end up with all kinds of strange films from Linux
people.

Have to go now, I'm just doing the animated remake of The Sound Of Music,
all singing done by myself of cause, but I'm not having no pesky kids in
it,

'...Oh a captain with seven Dalmations, whats so fearfull about that ....'.

Have to go and film the back drop on the northyorkshire moors.
