OS X 10.4.6+VPC 7.0.2: 2 days, 2 BSODs

I have not experienced *any* problems since VPC 7.0.2 + OS X 10.4.4 with
one VM running Windows XP SP2, 256MB on a Powerbook G4/1.33 1.25Gb RAM.

First XP-SP2 BSOD:

I quit VPC and save state to upgrade to 10.4.6.
Apply OS X 10.4.6
Repair permissions, check disk integrity, everything OK
Start VPC, right after VM restore, XP BSODs, sigh.
Reboot Windows and run chkdsk and also analyze disk with latest
Diskeeper Pro 10, everything seemingly OK.

Second BSOD (same VM):

I wanted to test a bootable CD image without creating a new VM. So I
shutdown XP normally and captured an ISO for the immiment reboot.

Reboot the VM and VM starts running bootable ISO, which is an XP setup
disk. Get to Setup screen and choose to Exit Setup. Machine restarts,
and I uncapture CD at post.

VM begins to boot into XP-SP2, right before getting to Explorer desktop,
BSOD.

Repeat reboot, chkdsk, Diskeeper analysis, everything is OK. System has
been up since then.

I'm just disturbed that a system which been 100% stable since 10.4.4 has
BSOD under VPC twice in two days since OS X 10.4.6. *No software* has
been installed in XP to coincide with these changes.

Not looking for explanation but posting for others.

Well, VPC is and has always been very susceptible to OS changes. VPC
makes a lot of hooks into the OS and when Apple makes changes, things
happen, most of them are not good. Any time there is an OS upgrade,
there's a good chance something will either be broken (60%), fixed
(15%), or unchanged (25%)
