[OT NEWS] Apple launches Bootcamp

Hmmm... this could well be, the first time ever I have actually considered
in buying a Mac.
The computers themselves are bloody good spec, and although sometimes
expensive, this may be because of the OS itself or the machine, but their
tough, they look good and they *look* simple but sleek...

Andre...did you have any major issues ins installing OSX onto your pc? How
did you go about it? It's definitely something I'd be interested in trying

Jane: Trial and Error, lets get something straight if you plan to attempt
this, you are likely to format your existing Windows installation especially
if you have multiple installations of Windows.

Windows needs to be on the System Partition, and OS X needs to be on a
bootable partition, also, you will need a file to enable the Mac OS X
partition to be bootable, its called Chain0

Check http://www.osx86project.org to learn more, its a grea resource. I
still have some issues going on, my HP 840c printer is not compatible, and I
am using it through USB, bought the cable yesterday, also networking is not
working. Still, its just for testing, I am entrenched in Windows, am
surrounded by Windows. But, the Mac OS is definitely a cool "looking"
operating system, a bit awkward to use, since interface elements are not
placed in what you would call logical places in Windows.

To be honest, when comparing Aqua to Aero Glass, Windows Vista wins hands
down.

I do have multiple hard drives, current setup is C>Windows XP, D>XP x64,
E>storage.

It's something I would certainly like to 'dabble' in. I will look into the
possibilities further.

Its fun, I don't use it as a main machine for the obvious reasons mentioned,
but its a pretty interface, because I am using shared system memory for my
video card, I don't get to access some applications such as DVD Player and
iMovie.
