Just wondering why you cannot use a restore point? The following freebie might be worth a try: VSO Image Resizer - http://www.vso-software.fr/products/image_resizer/ -- John Inzer Digital Media MVP Notice This is not tech support I am a volunteer Solutions that work for me may not work for you Proceed at your own risk | Guest

| Try to repair this way: .. Click on Start, click on Run and type (or copy and paste) the following in the textbox: REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL and press Enter Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI... This will take a few seconds to run and you will get a "success" message. Then try using the powertoy resizer. and then says something like:" your computer cannot be restored" and a lot of events such as : " Échec de détection du produit '{945AC98B-3DC8-45BE-BAE0-22CEEE37A103}', fonctionnalité 'QuickCam' lors de la demande du composant '{62BA7C13-20BB-41F7-A6A4-482632CE53D4}'" VSO is useful although not exactly what I hoped (actually a clone of the powertoy ;-) Thanks fo yourhelp -- Quote:

Might be worth a try to do the system restore in safe mode. ======================== Quote:
No, VSO Resizer not a clone of the powertoy... I don't think there is one. -- John Inzer Digital Media MVP Notice This is not tech support I am a volunteer Solutions that work for me may not work for you Proceed at your own risk | Guest

| See if this helps... it worked for me. Resizer quit and this registry repair was the fix. Here's the site with the 'fix'. http://www.tikkiweb.net/resizer "olivier moulin" wrote: Quote:
