Outlook Express .dbx folers

Posted: 11-12-2003, 11:54 AM
I had to do a system recovery. I have followed all the
instructions i can find for importing my .dbx folders but
none seem to work. When i import/browse and select the
old folders, i get a message back that it can't find them
or they are in use.

They have to be in a folder on your hard drive and not have the Read Only
attribute.

And they must include the file Folders.dbx for the import to work.

If Folders.dbx is missing OE should still import the default folders.
Unfortunately, those are the only folders most users have.
