about 2 months all my inbox 'opened' msg's have
disappeared. Only unopened msg's remain. Please need
advice on how to recover 'opened' msgs and place back
into inbox.

Outlook Messages
The files may have been archived. Obviously, you wouldhave been asked by outlook whether you wished to archive
or not and you may have inadvertantly, not taking too
much notice of the message, pressed Yes. Take a look at
the bottom of your folder list to see if there is a
folder called Archived Folders. if there is, then check
the sub folders to see if your messages have been
archived to this folder.

go to View>Current view. Are the choices marked as you want them ? Both
provide for hiding read messages; the wording is just different.
