Outlook profile on RIS Image

Posted: 02-09-2009, 10:33 PM
I have just updated my Windows XP SP2 RIS image and deployed it to a test
machine. When a user logs on and opens Outlook 2003 a message appears saying
(roughly) that Outlook is trying to open the administrator mailbox. In the
past I haven't had this problem - a brand new user could log onto a RIS
imaged machine and Outlook would open their mailbox. Howcome it is now trying
to open the administrator mailbox, and what do I need to do to fix this? If I
apply the hotfix mentioned in KB887816 and then copy the administrator
profile to the Default User profile should this take care of this issue? (I'm
just about to try this anyway, so I may be able to answer this question
myself in a couple of hours!!)
