1) Try running system file checker by typing sfc /scannow in your run box.

2) You can also try dragging the mspaint file out from C:\Windows\System32
(or substitute whatever drive you have Vista installed on on your box for
C:\ and see if that helps. It won't hurt paint--it's a "quicky SFC" move and
it will copy to the desktop no matter which mouse button you hold down when
dragging.

3) Before or after saving the next .jpeg try tweaking what gets indexed at
the Control Panel Applet Advanced for indexing or If you have folders that
you know you will never want to search - turn off indexing for that folder
from within folder properties > Advanced.

Sorry can you explain step by step this, because my english is not very good
and didn't understand this.

I tried step 1 - runned sfc, after few minutes finished. If you need the log
created i will give it. I runned rebuild index again, plus restore default
settings and stil the problem appears. I have bitcomet installed, too, it
when download torrent with a movie for example, windows index only the folder
created by downloaded torrent, but the files - not (content) Example -
downloaded desktop/new programs/Freeprogram.exe - index only "new folder",
but when i try freeprogram - "no items match on your search"

Jordan--

I can understand your English fine.

The first step was to run System File Checker--Windows File Protection has
been part of Windows in different forms since Win 98 when it also included
Office. It checks for bad files and replaces with intact ones froma storage
area called DLL Cache. It verifies file signatures of thousands of files.
It sounds like you got this done.

Step2 was to go where I said and arrange files and folders by name and drag
mspaint to desktop. This can help rebuild a file or app in this case if it
is damaged.

Step 3 Rebuild Index this way:

was to go to the Control Panel on the Start Menu>menu "applet" or entry is
Indexing Options with a magnifying glass icon or symbol to the left>click
it>rebuild tab on the right>select jpeg (it doesn't list the dot with the
jpeg).

As far as I know whatever downloading you do via Bit Commet whichever
Torrent program of hundreds you are using, shouldn't impact this.
