| Why can't I set up parental controls on the Windows Vista default guest account? I can only create a new account (the third one, since there is an administrator account, default guest account, and this new one), and only on this new account can I set up parental controls, (but not on the default guest account). Why is this? | Guest

| I share your frustration. I have been into the Guest account and found that no web content is available at all: EVERY web site I visit is blocked due to Parental Controls... and yet I am told that parental controls cannot be applied to the guest account. It's this sort of contradiction which will drive me towards a Mac when I next replace my computer! Can anyone help? -- RichieL | Guest

You can only apply Parental Controls on a "Standard User account". The Guest user account is blocked by default and cannot be changed in Parental Controls. For more on how to use Parental Controls, see: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/95...setup-use.html Shawn -- brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* WWW.VISTAX64.COM (\"HTTP://WWW.VISTAX64.COM\") *Please post feedback to help others.* | Guest
