Parrallel Connection Problem

After upgrading to Windows XP, I cannot get my HP Deskjet
930C to install. It does not recogize that the printer is
connect to the LPT 1 parrallel port. Thank you.

Set the LPT port to EPP in the BIOS.

Go into the Device Manager, and click on Ports (Com and LPT)... Click on the
LPT entry and under Port Settings, ensure you have a check mark in Enable
Legacy Plug and Play detection.
