Hi,

How can I protect a folder or drive with a password with Vista Ultimate ?

Hi Jerry,

Vista, like XP, doesn't use password protection, it uses sets of
permissions. Files placed in a user's personal folders will not be
accessible to other users. Shared files should be placed in the Public
folder set.

If you are sharing a folder on a network, you can set the Network and
Sharing center to require a valid username and password for the system, but
not individual folders. File set in the Public folders can be set for
network sharing, as can individual folders/files in the user's profile.
