| Help. Please. We have a new computer and it has vista home installed. After adding a standard account for my wife it is now asking for an administrators password everytime we try to go into the administrators account or add a new user. I didnt put a password on the administrators account. How can I find out what this password is or change it without a disk? and with out having to reinstall Vista from scratch? | Guest

| Did you try just leaving it blank and pressing Ok? It will ask for it, even if it is blank. I know there are ways to reset it in Windows XP, but not sure if the same techniques work in Vista. If the blank password doesn't work, let me know and I'll look around to see if there is a way to make the XP way work with Vista. -- Dustin Harper dharper@vistarip.com http://www.vistarip.com -- "Leeoz" <Leeoz@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1F8146BF-442F-46E3-B0F5-CF18BCFA19EF@microsoft.com...
