| Lately, whenever I boot up my computer, I get a message that my old password expired, and that I need to make a new one. The problem with this is, I am the only one who uses this computer, so I never have to logon. I don't even think I ever gave the computer a password. It won't let me change the password, is there anyway around this or to at least let me find out my old password? any help would be appreciated. | Guest

| Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Local Security Policy Then goto Account Policies, Password Policy, then goto maximum password age and change that to zero. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ Ryan wrote: Quote:
