password log-on

I have to enter my password twice for it to "take". Same problem on my
desktop, my laptop, my wife's desktop (she has XP, I have Vista). Obviously,
I need to check or uncheck something. Where and how?

Hello Robert,
If this happened not too long ago, do a system restore. Pick a date
BEFORE this happened as your restore point.
