| Issue: Never Prompted for Password at Windows Log-in. Method:I set a password on my computer via control panel, Restart the computer as requested, The computer neglects to ask for a password and starts up on the desktop. There are No other accounts than my administrative account. I've had this issue since Windows XP and I am now running Vista. I have reason to believe that the start of this issue occurred with .NET Passport. Please help, I've asked this question a few months ago and I've yet to get feed back. | Guest

| Hello Justice, In the Start/search box, type control userpasswords2 then hit enter. Accept any UAC prompt. Make sure there is a check in the box "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" -- Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)Batteries not included. Braincell on vacation ;-) MVP Windows Shell/User "Justice" <Justice@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C49F55A6-43A3-436C-90CF-ACE1B9E37E61@microsoft.com... Quote:
