pcanyWhere and DC++

Posted: 04-26-2008, 03:29 AM
Hi,

I am running PCA 12.1 host on a Windows XP SP2 desktop, and remote on a
Vista Home Premium laptop. When I have DC++ running on the desktop and
attempt a remote session, I often can not connect. It seems that DC++
prevents the connection sometimes, but not always. I tried limiting the
number of connections when using DC++ and this seemed to increase the chance
of establishing a successful remote session.

Any ideas?

Fred

I have not trouble connecting when my host/desktop is not running DC++. One
other odd thing. The pca web remote interface seems to work even when the
program does not!

This is a question for either the DC++ program's tech support people or
Symantec's tech support people.
