Did you load all the s/w that came with the printer, very precisely and in
the order specified by the HP documentation? The s/w is very touchy about
this. If not, rip it all out and do it precisely as directed.

s/w is software and yes "that is the disk". It is not just the fact that it
is loaded, it must be done in the sequence described in the installation
instructors including plugging in all the cables and powering up the
printer. It is connected via USB, is it not? Your wireless is irrelevant.

printer works great from desktop.can it be that the printer sharing has to beon same network when setting up? i am new to this so bear with me.

sorry what do you mean if i moved the printer? as of today i uninstalled theprinter software from my laptop till i find someone who will set it up for
me. all this talk is not working i am a visual person and it means nothing
