I have top quality pictures imported to Movie Maker. They
are now fuzzy when I play it. How can I edit this, what
should I do?

Take a look at the thread "Creating Still Pictures CD
(Continued)", which was started 5/20/2004 9:36 AM (EDT).

You can also find many other posts on the subject
if you search this newsgroup.

Non-square pixels again... :-O how dare you! Now be ready for crackdown by
the pixel police...

I have performed a few experiments and come to the conculsion that for zoom
and pan effects on still images, the best results are obtained when one uses
an output format with WMM that performs either no resize of the orignal
images or the maximum exact divisor of the original size one can use.

For example, for images of size 2048x1536, one should use an output format
of 1024x768. This needs a custom output profile. One such profile is
provided on papajohn's site. One may not be able use the full resolution
images since the maximum horizontal frame size acceptable to windows media
profile encoder is 2000 which you would use to create your custom profile.

Neither 768x576 nor 720x576 (which is completely wrong) gave good results in
my experiments since I was using zooming, and panning over zoomed images.
If one uses exact size matching the output size, the input to pan/zoom
operations receive reduced inormation to work with.

The results I got rivalled if not betterred the results from photo story 2.
