PicturePlayer Music Advice needed!

I was referred to PicturePlayer3 and am working on a slideshow with music for
my daughter. We can get the photos loaded, but cannot add music easily.
1. When I try to add music, and point to a music CD on our CD drive, it
responds that the tracks highlighted are not music. ??
2. I ripped a track successfully from the CD into MediaPlayer, but I cannot
find the track when I try to add music from PicturePlayer. Only some tunes
show up under MyMusic. How do I "upload" the ripped track so it can be
accessed by PicturePlayer?
3. When I purchased a track from the internet, the track plays fine, but I
cannot add it to PicturePlayer because it is protected. Is there a way to
overcome this??
