Play licensed MP3 on Wireless Network

Help. I upgraded to windows XP and media player 9 so I could hook up a
wireless network and play my music files on my stereo. All of my music was
ripped from CD's under an older version of windows media player. When I
tried to play my old music media player would not play it and forced me to
download licenses, so I did that. Now I find that my dlink media player
can't play licensed files. I see there is a new option under media player 9
where you can copy your CD's without copy protection. If I copy a new CD in
this fashion it works fine on the dlink media player but it will take me days
to copy in all my old stuff.

Is there any way to get the licenses off my files and still be able to play
them on media player 9.0? It will take me weeks to copy all of this music
in again.

It's actually WMA not MP3. When you first rip a CD in WMP it asks you if
you would like to protect it or not. To enable streaming you would of
wanted to uncheck that. To remove the protection, you must re-rip the
tracks.

WMRM 10 will enable streaming of secure files on a network, but the device
must support it. That's not going to help you, however.
