Shemeeka:
Windows XP, or any other OS never has had (word, excel, access,FrontPage, and
PowerPoint). these are Office and separate programs. If you bought your
computer, and the sales person stated that they were on the computer, take
it back and demand that they put these programs on for you, if you paid for
them.
I hope this helps.

I have Pentium 4 with Intel 845D motherboard, 512 MB SDRAM with Windows

XP professional clean install running on 40 GB Samsung HDD. Somehow

since 2-3 days it has become extremely slow, in task manager my CPU

usage is 100% all the time, items have disappeared from START UP MENU on

the bottom right of the desktop. Task manager shows CPU usage 100% all

the time, everything is unbearably slow, even when trying to do a

shutdown, it doesn't happen. Shutdown doesn't happen and almost always I

have to switch off my PC directly or reboot it. Please help. Absolutely

any help, even your wildest guess is welcome. Also sometime back I had

that blaster worm in my PC I think, I have installed the DCOM patch from

Microsoft, updated my virus definitions in NORTON 2002 and enabled the

firewall. What could be the problem now ? Please mail at

neilharwani@icenet.net or reply to this message.

NORTON 2002 might cause the problem. Disable the norton antivirus service
and stop the SAVRT.SYS file in Device Manager > View Hidden Devices.

If this does not help, review the Task manager CPU time & physical memory
usage and track the culprit.

Source RemoteAccess
Catagory None
Event Id 20159

The connection to The Internet (2) made by user User Name
using device IRDA11-1 was disconnected.

It is coming up as information in my computer
management. I can't find any documentation on it
anywhere other then infrared receivers which I do not
have since I see this on my desk top. Does anyone out
there know what it is or where I can find the answer I am
seeking. I would really appreciate it.
Ciao,
T-leigh

PLEASE! Help us save Terri Schindler Schiavo's Life!
-----------------------------------------------------------
---------------------
www.terrisfight.org

PLEASE! Help this cause.

Terri is a severely disabled woman in Clearwater, Florida
(near the Tampa/St. Petersburg area) who will begin to die
from starvation and dehydration on October 15, 2003.

Why?

Because a judge by the name of George Greer ruled last
week to have her feeding tube removed at the request of
Terri's "husband" and legal guardian, Michael Schiavo.

Terri has been in this condition ( brain damage) since
1990 and receives her only means of nutrition from a
feeding tube. In 1998, Michael Schiavo began petitioning
the courts to have her feeding tube removed, attempting to
make the case the feeding tube is life support.

Why, again?

Well, first of all, Michael has a new fiance. He even has
a child with this other woman. He wants to move on with
his life. Well, that's fine but why not divorce Terri and
transfer legal guardianship over to Terri's parents who
will love her and make sure she gets the best of care?

Well, if he does that, he will not receive the $750,000
that will be his, all his, upon Terri's death from
starvation if he remains her husband until her death.

Terri is not in a COMA-she is reactive and has sleeping
and wakeful periods.

Terri RESPONDS to verbal, auditory and visual stimuli.

Terri BREATHES normally on her own.

Terri SMILES, TRIES TO TALK to her family and friends and
will MOVE HER LIMBS on command.

Terri is NOT A BURDEN. Her parents, brother and sister
have offered to care for her in a safe environment and she
has a fund so is not a burden to anyone, tax-payers
included.

Terri's condition CAN IMPROVE with proper treatment,
though she has been denied such treatment by
her "husband." Local medical evidence supports this claim.

Don't let the Florida Courts starve this young and
innocent woman to death. Terri's time is running out and
she needs your help NOW!

You can contact the names listed below and let them know
that you want Terri's human rights and her patient rights
honored. Terri CAN benefit from treatment and she deserves
to receive it.

Don't allow the execution of a disabled young woman.
Please act today to help her.

Michael Schiavo, his attorney George Felos (a known right
to die attorney), and the hand picked physician who
assessed Terri's condition as hopeless, WANT TERRI TO DIE!

Terri's parents, her sister, and her brother want her to
live. They love her very much and will devote their lives
to care for her. Who among us wouldn't do the same for any
of our loved ones?

Terri's family suspects that Michael physically abused her
and this had something to do with her being in this
condition (brain damaged).

This case is appalling and shocking. Please review the web
site to learn more...

Please do what you can to help! She is scheduled to die in
less than one month from today on October 15, 2003.

Also, here in my area, we are requesting that radio
stations play "Every Woman Has a Name" (Terri's song) by
Alice Cooper. Call your hometown radio stations and
request this song and tell them to dedicate it to Terri
Schindler Schiavo. Advise anyone and everyone you know
about this case and ask them to become personally involved
to help save this woman's life. Take ownership of the
cause.

Email me at MisterJDC@aol.com if you have any suggestions
and/or ideas. I will be focused on this case exclusively
at least until October 15, 2003 and I will be asking each
of you for your help.

Thanks in advance.

I was using Norton Ghost 2003 to load an image of my hard drive onto my
notebook computer that I made previously and the computer crashed during the
image loading process. Now all I get is a blue screen that says:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent
damage to your computer......etc. "

I am stuck now, because I can't even load my Windows XP disk as my notebook
computer has no floppy drive in order to load the setup disks and make
partitions. I thought of buying a usb external floppy drive to be able to do
this, but I dont' think that will work either as an OS like Windows is
needed in order for the external floppy to be detected...so I thought
anyway.

Thank you in advance for posting help.

Done, but I'm not sure what Symantec will do to help. At this point, I would
be delighted just to be able to load my Windows XP disk somehow.
