PLEASE HELP! Hackers got in my sys I think....

Posted: 08-11-2003, 09:57 PM
ok, when I booted my computer this morning (HP Pavillion
4458 running xp pro corporate) I got a message saying
"can't open: PFTP2016, TFTP1940" and asks for me to choose
a program or search the web for one. When I search the web
it says no such file exists in Windows. I can get into
safe mode and back up some files on my hard drive but not
my outlook express which has my business info etc in it. (I
know, should have backed up nightly) I looked in msconfig
and saw webdav.exe and msblast.exe both files are
unfamiliar to me. I have never downloaded webdrive or
anything like it. I am lost as to how to fix this so I can
use my computer and more importantly how to prevent it from
happening again. Thanks !

isn't xp pro corporate the pirated edition. Why don't you
give the Vole your money and buy a legit copy ?
