Plug and Play issue on Vista

Hi!
I’m having problems with instalation of HTC and Vista Windows Mobile
Device Manager!

The device is not recognized by Vista, I mean, I connect the USB cable
to laptop and nothing happens! But I can open WMDC but always says
"not connected".

The wierdest thing is that I’ve connected 3 Pen Drives and nothing
happened too!

Is this a general issue problem with Plug and Play discovering devices
or is this nonsense and not related?

Please help! I’m getting desperate!
