Won't do Paul HP don't supply disks

Bob best bet would be to get the bootdisk I think it is 6 or 8 of them
download it from http://www.bootdisk.com
you'll have to look around for it. man it saved my butt once
anyhow this should allow you to repair it

are you sure F8 won't work either

To reinstall HP's version of XP (without a recovery disk - thank HP for
nothing) hit F10 when starting the computer. Hope you backed up your
data. If you *don't* have backups, then take the machine to a local
computer shop so they can slave the hard drive in another machine and
copy data for you. Have them reinstall Windows while you're there.
