Power options properties

Can someone advise me how to configure the parameters of Power Options
Properties.

Ray, Power Options in Control Panel is fairly self explanatory. Select
each Tab and just see what you want to accomplish.

Rich,

It looks simple but not user friendly at all. Firstly, what are the logical
time set for each parameters. Wrong time setting leads incorrect functions.
In addition, any changes need to save as a new file but how can I set the
new file as default setting. It always goes back to original setting. I
think it needs to explain before we understand how to set it up properly.
