Power Save mode problem

Posted: 01-19-2009, 05:41 PM
I have a glitch here I cannot figure out.
I can be working away on the computer when the power save settings kick in
and my screen goes black. I have the power saving set on High Performance and
modified the monitor to turn off after one hour. This happens when there is
active work going on with the computer. I can be actively gaming and lose the
monitor.
I have looked at the advanced power settings and cannot see anything to
change that would make a difference.
Any ideas?

You've been hanging around these groups for quite enough time for you
to have learned how to use Google.

Googling "Gateway FX541S", and just looking at the list without
reading any of the hits: it's apparent that it's a desktop.
