| Every time I boot up my system, I get a message saying "Preparing to Install. Please wait while Windows configures MS Office XP Standard" I can cancel out of this message and use my machine fine, but how do I stop this from coming up all of the time? I have a feeling it came on when I was downloading something and cancelled the download during the middle of the process. Thanks! | Guest

| Rather than canceling the message, it might be best let it complete. It will probably prompt for you to insert your office CD to continue. This is a hard problem to track down otherwise. I have seen it occur where the Office tool bar was set to load at startup but had been damaged in some fashion. Letting the Install run resolved it. If you are seeing this at boot up, it may indicate something similar. -- ------------------------------------------------------------ GTS Computer Service serving northern New Jersey www.gtscomputerservice.com ------------------------------------------------------------ "Mary Anne" <mad@maryannedaniels.com> wrote in message news:278401c33f27$63a29660$a401280a@phx.gbl...
