Printer appears in "Printers" window, but not in File > Print dropdown list

I've had a terrible time reinstalling drivers for a Laserjet 3015 on a Vista
system. I thought I had it right the other night -- I can print a test page
from the Printers window > Properties for that printer > Print Test Page.

However, the printer doesn't show up in the File > Print > Printers window >
Name dropdown list! How can that be?

I tried all 3 UPD drivers from the HP site and they don't work.
3015 setup and worked fine on inital vista premium startup then
upgraded to ultimate and it completely lost the 3015 and can't recove
or find a way to get back to the original vista setup. I've had n
resonse from HP yet either

Hi Charles,

I try delete printer from printers in control panel. Then I add it trought
add printer wizard in printers. It works to me.
