Printer can't be found after installing SP2

error" when I try to print to my Epson Stylus CX 5400
conected to my USB port. I tried printing different
documents from different programs including MS Notepad,
de-installing & re-installing the printer software,
rebooting, checking all ink cartridges, printer CPU &
power connections, but nothing works - I get the same
error message - "Communication error". My San Disk
Compact Flash reader on a different USB Port also won't
Work. Is it possible that SP2 has something to do with
this? How do I make sure my 4 - USB ports are working
properly? I tried to go back to a system restore prior
to the SP2 install, but the system won't allow me to. I
would appreciate all help Thanks
