Printer connected to an USB port

Posted: 06-28-2004, 08:55 AM
Hi All,

I have configured a printer in Embedded xp..It is using
the USB port and prints directly to the printer.
The problem is that on embedded xp there is a delay of 4
secs before it prints where on XP pro it prints without a
delay for
the same settings

Do u know if i need to do something diff for a
printer...any settings that i need to check?? Buffer size
or page size?? will this matter??

Thanks
Amit

Hi, Amit
It's better practice to print using print spooler.

Hi Leonid

Thanks, but the problem persists even after including a
print spooler. It seems to print ok with the default shell
but the problem is when i try printing with my application
as the shell of the OS.

Thanks a lot for your time
Amit
