I appreciate your response to my question however the
information you provided did not solve my problem.
The firewall was not enabled on my clients. I then enabled
the the firewall and opened the ports for file sharing
listed in:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/ports.asp
After rebooting the client I tried printing from several
programs and still, no icon in the sysytem tray.
Can you recommend any further actions I can take to enable
this feature?
