| My printer suddenly stopped working. When I click on the print button, the computer starts sending the info to the printer. The power button on the printer starts flashing as it should when receiving the print information. The printer will then start advancing a page to the start position. At this point the advance button on the printer starts flashing and the printer stops responding. I've tried hooking up another printer and cable that I know worked properly and ended up with the same results. The printers will also not respond to internal testing commands. When I open the active print file it will show that the doc. was in the process of being sent, but under the status it states "Error Printing" No indication as to what the cause is. Print drivers are updated and working properly according to HP Online Testing. This seems to be a communication problem originating from the PC itself or possible problem within XP's print commands? Has anyone had this same problem or know what needs to be done to correct it? Print commands are also needed in order to operate other processing equipment. I appreciate any assistance in this matter. | Guest
