Remove all traces of the previous installation as per

http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article%20one.htm

Then download a new set of drivers from the Canon website at:
http://www.usa.canon.com/html/conCpr...p?app=download

Run the installation package and only connect the printer when the drivers
tell you to do so.
