Printer set up

I have Windows XP and two printers: HP Laserjet 4 and HP
Photosmart. Is there any way to have XP ask me which one I
want to print to rather than assuming I want to use the
default printer?

Tried to setup printer to newXP..I get nothing...please
help...I may even have it hooked up wrong ??? thank you

I have try many way to get my deskjet to connect I have
the disk but window cant find a driver for this what
should i do now

Oh I don't know...surely visiting the manufacturer's website isn't *that*
obscure a notion...I don't know, the nouse of some people...

Have you tried going to HP's website and downloading the correct drivers?

www.hp.com

If HP tell you the drivers are built into XP, then from the command prompt,
type

sfc /scannow

After it's finished, reboot and PC and try to install the printer again.
