Printer Stopped/Hanging

Ok, I solved my problem by disconnecting my printer from the USB port,
uninstalling the printer driver, turned off computer, reconnected and turned
on printer, then computer (plug-in-play automatically reinstalled driver upon
bootup). Finally, I had to re-verify the print cartridge via the Print
Cartridge Identification procedure (i.e. print cartridge setup).
