Printing

I have managed to connect from XP PC to a printer on a
NT4 PC. The printer works, except that I cannot print
multiple copies. No matter how many copies I Specify, it
only prints one copy.

Please Help

Move the printer to the XP PC and then print through that, and get the
NT4 PC to print via the XP PC. Drivers on NT4 machine are too old for
XP to use via this method.

I have got an Epson Stylus C40S and am unable to print
anything in colour. I have carried out Nozzle Check,
Head Cleaning etc, the cartridge is half full, but still
no colour comes out on the printing. Can you help please.

Epson printers are known for clogging their heads... you might want to
remove the cartridge and very carefully clean it with something like an
alcohol pad.

I have an Epson inkjet color 600 which I've been using
with a Windows XP driver (that comes with XP) happily.
Someone deleted the printer and now Windows XP wont
automatically detect it and install the driver. I've
therefore manually installed the printer instead (using
the XP wizard) and the installation is fine installing
the driver for me. Device manager tells me this device is
working properly on the printer parallel port LPT1 (it's
not a USB printer). The printer is listed under
the 'printers and faxes' in control panel as the default
ptinter and there are no other printers on the system.

Everything appears fine.

I then try to print something (I've tried all manner of
things to print) whereby nothing happens...... ???? I
don't get any error messages and the printer screen with
all its options disappears after pressing print as it
should do. Even the printer tray icon comes up in the
bottom right hand corner as it should do for a split
second. Everything runs perfectly except for one thing.
The printer does nothing!!!

I am a competent computer user and have asked people in
chat rooms already. This is my last line of hope or else
I'll have to buy a new printer.

P.S. The printer isn't broken (it works on my neighbours'
computer) and I cant get a driver from Epson as the
printer is too old and besides I know that the XP driver
works as I've been using it for 13 months with no problem.

What kind of printer is it, and what type of interface (USB, Parallel)?
If it's on a LPT port, does the printer require an interrupt? Really
need more info from you in order to help.
