Printing through an Apple Airport Network

Hi,
I just bought a new IBM laptop and am able to print if I plug in my canon
printer directly. However, my wife has it hooked up to her Apple Airport
wireless network. That is where I get my internet connection from yet it
doesn't detect the printer. Any suggestions?
