Printingto multiple printers

Posted: 12-01-2003, 04:52 PM
Hi,

I need to print one document to multiple printers
simultaniously.

I found a product which does it (ePrint from LeadTools)
but it has a bug in it which is preventing me from using
it.

Does anyone know of any other solutions?
(I tried printer pooling. It didn't work)

Thanks

While I can not provide you an answer (sorry), here's a question: why do you
have to do that ? I am just curious.

I have a client who prints greeting cards.
He has pre-printed cards to which he adds a message
("Happy birthday son","Merry Xmas" etc...)

The cards are too thick to stack in the printers so he has
to load them one at a time.

If he could load 12 printers with card then just hit print
it would save him a lot of time.

Interesting. Assuming he uses an application with an OLE automation
interface, you could write a VB script that submits the same job to 12
queues.
