problem accessing vista computer from xp

I was able to fix the public folder using your advice. Thank you. I have a
second drive on the Vista computer that the XP cannot access. Drive Q:\ is
shared. On the share permissions tab, Everyone has full control. On the
Security Tab it says "Allow Authenticated Users, System, Adminstrators and
Users Full Control. It does not have "Everyone" on the list. If I try to add
a new Group or user name, it won't let me change the location. It is set to
the name of the Vista Computer. Password Protection is not on.

You need permission to perform ..."Destination Folder Access Denied" I am
running Vista Ultimate on one PC and XP Pro SP2 ... By default, when you
take over ownership, the "Replace owner on ...

I changed the ownership of the folder with the help of this website and I
still can not open anything from my xp computer.

do I change the "From this location:" section. It is on PREPRESS which is the
name of the computer. When I click on the locations button. PREPRESS is my
only option.
