Problem with fax monitor software.

I recently got a Dell PC, when i had to move the location
of the modem to a different pci slot to have my tv tuner
card in a accessible location.

until then the fax monitor showed the progress of the fax
being sent.. like

dialing....
sending page 1 or 3

etc...

once i moved the slot of the modem, the monitor stoped
working. It appears that there is a problem with the
monitor sw that it can only monitor 1 line at a time. And
since the device manager renamed the modem with a
different name, it appears that monitor is not picking up
the new activity instead.

appears a msft sw problem... has anyone seen it before.?
