Problem with media player

Posted: 09-29-2003, 08:37 PM
I'm experiencing problems with my mediaplayer. Lots of
files (mostly mpeg and avi) are not accepted, mediaplayer
says the file is corrupt or a codec is missing. I know
the files are not corrupt and I've tried downloading and
installing lots of codecs but nothing has changed. Anyone
know what I need to do?

Thanks in advance,
Erik

If it's an AVI use GSpot to find out what codec you need to install.

GSpot Codec Information Appliance

If it's an MPEG file it is most likely an MPEG-2 file. you need to purchase
and install a software DVD decoder, such as PowerDVD or WinDVD.
