I downloaded the 32 bit version and began the upgrade. after installing fine it took me to the start page with my name in a flower box, and it was then my mouse and keyboard would not work, the mouse would not move over the box for me to click it?? I have a logitech cordless keyboard and mouse and do not use the software on my pc and they connect automatically, should i install the software so that vista can recognize my keyboard and mouse?? As soon as I did the reformat and put media centre back my keyboard and mouse worked just fine anyone else have this problem?? any advise?? | Guest

| I have noticed in parental controls that Windows Messenger Live does not appear to be recognised as a messenger account, therefore no data is available in activity reports, even though Messenger was being used. Same as with the Live mail. When i select the folder users/*accountname*/ mail - all my own emails appear rather than other users? This can be viewed in other accounts too. There appears to be no way to turn off the taskbar icon that shows that parental controls are on on the childs account. Also, when i hide files and folders in the Admin account they become available to all users on 'show hidden files and folders'. I have information on this pc which i prefer the kids not to see or be able to edit. Is there any 'fixes' to these issues? I am also having troubles getting any compatable drivers for Vista OS, nor does a lot of my programs or hardware work since the upgrade. Subsequentally all i am left with is mainly Microsoft products and a lot of error installations/ misinstalled programs/ compatability issues. When i purchased the upgrade it was in belief (by reading the official 'glossy' Vista Website) that my pc would be so much better if I upgraded - spectacular even, but in reality it is left very downgraded and basic unless i spend ££££££££ upgrading my very much new and costly hardware. Surely there should be some kind of warning on that page things might not be so great if Vista doesn't support the product / driver compatability issues / driver inavailability issues because as it stands it is very misguiding to the consumer and frankly i feel robbed! | Guest
