I have a Sony Vaio PCG-FX220 and I am trying to install
the software for a new Palm Tungsten T. Everytime I try,
the InstallShield Wizard comes up and then I get a screen
with info about a problem (the screen quickly
disappears). Then the computer restarts on its own and I
get a message telling me that "the system has recovered
from a serious error." The "error signature" is as
follows:

I click for further info about the error report, and I get

Palm has already let me know that this is not a problem on
their end. A response is pending from Sony.
Is this a windows issue, and is there a fix for this?
