Problems playing ripped CDs

Posted: 10-01-2004, 01:14 AM
The whole CD will play fine and there are absolutely no
problems when playing on my Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen
Xtra but when I play the last song of a CD at the end,
the computer will freeze until that 5 second of empty
space is done with. And when there are hidden songs later
on in the track, that 2-3 minute period my computer is
running at maybe 1% or lower. Anyone experience the same
thing? I'm running all my CDs at 192kbps in WMA 9 format
and now running WMP 10 (happened in 9 as well, hoping it
was fixed, but obviously it was not) I have over 160 CDs
on my computer and the re-burn them would be rediculous
as I don't believe WMA codec was altered. If there is no
cure, I can accept that but I didn't know how to explain
this in a way knoweldge base would find anything
relevant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
