Problems to see "Default Web Site" with a user who's not "Local administrtator"...

Posted: 02-09-2004, 09:38 PM
Hi,

I had install IIS 5.1. If I work with a user who's "local administrator" I
see the "Default Web Site" in IIS console.

I create a second user with the "read, write and execute" privileges in the
wwwroot. But It was not a "local administrator". But It's an Operator of the
Web Site.

With the same config in Windows 2000 and IIS 5.0, I can see the "Default Web
Site" with my user without "local administrator" privilege.

Do you know the difference between these two different setup and why I have
a problems in Windows XP.

Thanks!

JM
