Problems with XP on new IBM T40?

Just got my new T40 and am re-installing all the software
that used to run fine on my T30 with Windows XP. For
some reason, I cannot get *ANY* of my Adobe software to
install. Anyone familiar with this? Should I go back to
Win2K?
