| Ah! Received my DVD in the mail today! All excited! Tried three times to install it, each time the window tells me that "Setup cannot verify your product key." Did some genius slip the wrong label into the case? If so, what do I do now? | Guest

| Try going to a computer where no one has tried to download Vista (may not be necessary but if you want to play it safe).. Then go to the http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...y/preview.mspx And select the Download Now.. After going through the rituals you should get a key both to your screen and in the email provided. If that key doesn't work either then post back.. "JamesonLewis3rd" <JamesonLewis3rd@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:BAB2EBC9-55FF-4835-A4E3-82DA30BDBC62@microsoft.com... Quote:

| Often times with MSFT the product key print can be misleading. "B's" and "8's" look very much alike, for example. -- Mark Keeping the fun in dysfunctional! query and turning beet-red with mortification. It didn't matter, anyway, as I decided not to install it once I realized that much of my favorite and/or necessary stuff wouldn't run on it. I feel like I got suckered out of the S&H, but that's another issue. Thank you for your response, nevertheless. | Guest
