Product key already being used

This is the first time that I have tried to use the key for Vista beta2 and
while trying to activate it tells me that this key is in use I have not used
it before or given it to any one. Can someone correct this?

How about you change the product key being used. If you right click on
"computer" will find a control to change the product key being used. You can
get another key from www.microsoft.com/windowsvista by using another
www.hotmail.com account that you can create.

It may actually work to select change product key but enter the old one
anyway.
